The fifth event on the 2008 men's ASP World Championship Tour, the Billabong Pro, finished today at the Supertubes break, Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. Eight times world surfing champion KELLY SLATER (USA) won his fourth WCT event of the year, defeating MICK FANNING (AUS) in a wind effected final.Slater cemented his lead on the ASP ratings and moved closed to securing a ninth world title.
