Both sexes look alike, with a blue (mauve) head and belly, green wings, tail and back, and an orange/yellow breast. They are often seen in loud and fast-moving flocks, or in communal roosts at dusk. An overcast Spring day strong northerly winds, the threat of rain and thunderstorms with virtually no surf. Two King Parrots, a male and a female spent a few hours in our garden along with the usual lorikeets. .Photo: joliphotos
